Market Review

• Dolar bergerak disekitar level tertingginya dalam dua bulan terhadap sejumlah mata uang utama lainnya, ditengah ekspektasi bahwa the Fed tidak akan mengubah kebijakan moneternya secara agresit dan investor telah mengantisipasi pemangkasan suku bunga Fed Funds sebesar 0.25% pada pertemuan dua hari FOMC mulai dini hari nanti. Sementara itu, sterling anjlok kelevel terendahnya dalam 28 bulan karena meningkatnya ekspektasi bahwa Inggris akan keluar dari EU 'tanpa kesepakatan' apapun.

• Dolar menguat terhadap sejumlah mata uang utama lainnya, ditengah ekspektasi pelonggaran kebijakan moneter lebih lanjut dari bank2 sentral dunia untuk mengantisipasi pelemahan pertumbuhan ekonomi global. Sementara itu, sterling tertekan oleh kekhawatiran bahwa Inggris akan mengalami 'hard brexit' jika Boris Johnson, kandidat terkuat PM Inggris, terpilih menggantikan PM May.

Market Review

• Dolar menguat terhadap sejumlah mata uang utama lainnya, ditopang oleh data ekonomi yang lebih bagus dari ekspektas sehingga meredakan potensi pemangkasan suku bunga the Fed sebesar 50 basis point menjadi hanya sekitar 25 basis point saja. Lemahnya euro dan sterling turut mendorong penguatan dolar lebih lanjut.  Sterling anjlok kelevel terendahnya dalam 27 bulan ditengah kemelut calon pengganti PM May sehingga mengancam proses negosiasi Brexit.
